ابخازيا's status is disputed. It considers itself to be an independent state, but this is recognised by only a few other countries. The Georgian government and most of the world's other states consider Abkhazia ازروئے قانون a part of Georgia's territory. In Georgia's official subdivision it is an خود مختار جمہوریہ, whose government sits in exile in تبلیسی.

{{Abkhazia note}} is analogous to {{South Ossetia-note}} and {{Kosovo-note}}.

The template is suitable for articles which do not directly deal with the Abkhaz–Georgian conflict, but where indication of ابخازيا's status is nevertheless desirable.

Usage

Immediately after (i.e. without including any space) the first instance of "Abkhazia" in an article, add:
