العربية: بلدة غدامس القديمة، إحدى الواحات العريقة في الصحراء الليبيَّة، وهي مُصممة على نحوٍ يتحدّى ويُقارع الظروف البيئيَّة القاسية في الصحراء. بيوتها مُشيَّدةٌ باستخدام الطين المشوي، والحجر الجيري، وجذوع أشجار النخيل وأزقَّتُها مسقوفة حتَّى تحمي الأهالي من وهج الشمس الحارقة والقيظ الشديد.
English: The ancient desert town of Ghadames, Libya, is designed to fight the dramatic extremities of Saharan climate. Houses are made out of mud, lime, and palm tree trunks with covered alleyways between them to offer good shelter against summer heat
Español: La antigua ciudad desierta de Gadames, Libya, esta diseñada para luchar contra las extremas variaciones climaticas del clima sahariano. Las casas son hechas de lodo, cal y troncos de palmeras, con callejones cubiertos para ofrecer un buen refugio contra el calor de verano.
