English: 4 Maronite Convent Street (al-Yaqubi Mosque) in the northern part of the Armenian Quarter (near the Christian Quarter), Old Jerusalem. At the west end of the street are the Franciscans' Christian Information Centre and the Anglicans' Immanuel Gift Shop (behind/south of that is the Anglicans' Christ Church). Across from the street, to the north, are the Maronite Convent & guesthouse. The word Allāh is painted on the wall.
Français : La mosquée al-Yaqoubi au 4, rue du monastère Maronite, dans le quartier arménien (près du quartier chrétien) de la vieille ville de Jérusalem. L'église anglicane Christ Church et (encore plus loin) le Christian Information Centre des franciscains sont à l’ouest. Le couvent maronite et le foyer maronite sont de l'autre côté de la rue, au nord. Il est assez surprenant de trouver une mosquée à cet endroit. Sur le mur à gauche de la porte une inscription en arabe الله : Allah. |
