مادری نظام

مادری نظام (انگریزی: Matriarchy) معاشرتی نظام کی ایک ایسی شکل ہے جس میں اختیار عورت کے ہاتھ میں ہوتا ہے، خواہ وہ خاندانی، سماجی یا سیاسی سطح پر ہو ۔ اس نظام میں: اولاد کی نسبت ماں کی طرف کی جاتی ہے۔ وراثت کا حق ماں کے نسب کے ذریعے منتقل ہوتا ہے۔ اور شوہر عموماً بیوی کے خاندان یا قبیلے کے ساتھ رہائش اختیار کرتا ہے۔ .
