English: The monuments and Hindu temples of Panchadarla are on a hillock in Dharapalem village (Anakapalle). The complex consists of a small torana-like gateway, mandapa, temple, community kitchen, kalyana mandapa, yajna mandapa and several pilgrim facilities.
This complex is from Eastern Chalukyas era as evidence by inscriptions and lion-supported pillar design.
The temple has a water spring, which pours through five outlets in the hillock, which gives this place the name Panchadarla.
This a Shaiva complex, as evidenced by numerous lingam and Nandi found here.
