زبانیں بنتی رہتی ہیں اور بگڑتی رہتی ہیں۔ بہت سی زبانوں میں وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ تبدیلیاں آتی رہتی ہیں۔ بہت سے لوگ ایک زبان میں کچھ الفاظ کو روانی سے بولتے ہیں تو دوسروں کے نزدیک وہ الفاظ یا زبان ہی جناتی زبان ہوتی ہے۔ ایسے تمام مسائل کے حل کے ساری دنیا میں مختلف ممالک نے مختلف زبانوں کے لیے سرکاری طور پر اصول و ضوابط بنانے والے ادارے بنا دیے ہیں۔ یہ ادارے جو لغات جاری کرتے ہیں وہی اس زبان کی سرکاری لغات ہوتی ہیں۔ یہ فہرست ان اداروں کی ہے جو کسی بھی زبان کا معیاری ضابطہ تیار کرتے ہیں یا اس زبان کے ضابط (ریگولیٹر) ہیں۔

رابطے (Interlingua)کی زبانیں

The auxiliary language Interlingua has no regulating body, as its vocabulary, grammar, and orthography are viewed as a product of ongoing social forces. In theory, Interlingua therefore evolves independent from any human regulator. Interlingua's vocabulary is verified and recorded by dynamically applying certain general principles to an existing set of natural languages and their etymologies.

تعمیرشدہ زبانیں

Languages such as اسپرانٹو and Ido have been constructed (or planned) by a person or small group, before being adopted and developed by communities of users. Bodies such as the Akademio de Esperanto look at questions of usage in the light of the original goals and principles of the language.
