Wali Kamil Hazrat Allama Pir Muhammad Inayat Ahmad Naqshbandi was born on 18 November 1937 in a religious family in the well-known village of "Kulsian" in the Kashmir Valley. Your father had a distinct identity in terms of nobility, honesty and spirituality. Along with preaching religion and spiritual grace, his livelihood was farming. His mother was also very good-natured and devoted to prayer. When his birth was blessed, Hazrat Syed Wilayat Shah, Qutb-ul-Qatab, came to the house to congratulate him and took him in his arms and said lovingly. If Allah wills, this child will be the pole of his time, the best religious scholar and the source of growth and guidance. At the time of the establishment of Pakistan, his family migrated from the Kashmir Valley and settled in Chak 34, a village on the outskirts of Gujarat.It was only a few years after he came here that his mother Majda suddenly fell ill and left the world. It is as if he lost his loving mother at the age of six years. He sent you to get religious education in Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Ali Okarvi's Madrasa "Ashraf Madaris". One evening, he reached Karmanwala Sharif while walking and asked for allegiance to Hazrat Syed Ismail Shah Bukhari. He said, "Belia, you are my disciple from eternity" then he put his hand on his chest and said, "Go, we will give you all the knowledge of the world." You say that when I reached the seminary while running in the dark of the night, I was short of breath due to fear, but I cannot describe in words the peace of mind that I got from pledging allegiance. He also received blessings and knowledge from Maulana Manzoor Ahmad in Pak Patan Sharif and Hazrat Muhammad Abdullah Kasuri in Kasur. Hazrat Syed Zaheer Al Hasan Shah said in a meeting that I have a trust from you, which is the form of Khilafah. I want to give it to you. When the news of this reached the devotees, they started turning towards Jamia Masjid Taha Sharif Gulbarg 3rd Lahore for pledge of allegiance. This is the mosque where the ritual of reciting Dard-e-Salam daily would begin after the Fajr prayer and would continue until the Isha prayer.

Hazrat Pir Muhammad Inayat Ahmad Naqshbandi, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave imamate and sermon in Masjid Taha Sharif for 43 years in his blessed life.

Hazrat Pir Muhammad Inayat Ahmad Naqshbandi (may Allah have mercy on him) revealed himself to the visible world on 31 July 2011.

His shrine was built in Aqdas Kabotpura Sharif Gulbarg 3.

According to his will and the permission and order of Hazrat Syed Mir Tayyab Ali Shah Sahib, his eldest son Sahibzada Pir Muhammad Umer NaqshbandiSahib was appointed as his successor.

Qibla Sahibzada Muhammad Umar Naqshbandi Saheb Astana Aliya Huzoorganj Inayat Sarkar is guiding the followers by aligning it with the modern era on the lines of Ansram monastic system.
