English: The description of the Municipal Flag is encapsulated in the ordinance enacted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Bustos, Bulacan, viz.:
"Ang watawat ng Bustos ay parihaba na may tagwang isa sa dalawa (1:2), na kung saan ang kahabaan nito ay dalawang ulit na haba ng taas ng bandila. "Ang watawat ay bubuuin ng luntiang pondo na ang dalawang-katlong (2/3) bahagi nito mula sa itaas ay sumisinag na araw at may labing-apat na silahis na pawang dilaw. Sa baba nito ay balantok na may tatlong (3) balatay na dilaw, luntian at puti. "Ang luntian ay sagisag ng pag-asa at kasaganaan, ang dilaw ay kadakilaan, at ang puti ay kadalisayan at kapayapaan. Ang sumisinag na araw ay simbolo ng kaunlaran ng bayan, at ang labing-apat (14) na sinag ay ang mga barangay ng Bustos. Ang balatay na dilaw sa balantok ay nangangahulugan ng kapatagang nagniningas sa ginintuang uhay, ang balatay na luntian ay ang Bustos Dam at ang balatay na puti ay ang yamang-tubig ng bayan, na siyang sinilangan at pinagsimulan ng Bayan ng Bustos." |
