غار نقاشی (Cave painting) غاروں کی دیواروں اور چھتوں پر بنائی گئی تصاویر ہیں جو بنیادی طور پر زمانہ قبل از تاریخ تقریباً 40،000 سال پہلے یورپ اور ایشیا میں بنائی گئیں۔ قبل از تاریخ غاروں کی نقاشی کا صحیح مقصد معلوم نہیں ہو سکا۔ ثبوتوں سے واضح ہوا کہ یہ محض رہائشی مقامات کے لیے سجاوٹ نہیں تھیں کیونکہ جن غاروں میں یہ تصویریں پائی گئیں ہیں وہاں مسلسل بسنے کے آثار نہیں ملے۔
