یوکلپٹس یا یوکالپٹس Eucalyptus /ˌ[invalid input: 'ju:']kəˈlɪptəs/^[2] L'Heritier 1789^[3] ایک پھولدار درخت ہے۔ یہ پیڑ اونچا اور کمزور اور ہلکی ڈالیوں والا ہوتا ہے۔ اس کے 700 اقسام ہیں۔ یہ آسٹریلیا میں زیادہ پایا جاتا ہے۔ اور دنیا کے دیگر ہر علاقے میں دیکھا جاتا ہے۔ شمالی امریکا، جنوبی امریکا، یورپ، افریقا، ایشاء، مشرق وسطی، چین، بر صغیر بھات اور دیگر ممالک میں پایا جاتا ہے۔ اس پیڑ کو گوند والا پیڑ اور شہد کا پیڑ بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔ لیکن اس کا روغن بہت تیز ہوتا ہے جو اکثر سر کے درد میں استعمال کرتے ہیں۔

یہ پیڑ اونچے ہوتے ہیں، ڈالیاں نہیں ہوتی ہیں۔ پتے اس کے باریک اور لمبے ہوتے ہیں۔ ان کے پھول چھوٹے اور پھل بھی چھوٹے چھوٹے ہوتے ہیں۔
