a. ^  Before relocating to Taiwan, the capital of the ROC was Nanking. After the relocation of government to Taiwan, Chiang Kai-shek declared Taipei as the wartime capital. However, سانچہ:Asof, the constitution does not mention the name of the ROC capital; therefore, some argue that the de jure capital is still Nanking.
