یورپی ادارہ برائے جوہری تحقیق (انگریزی: یورپین آرگنائزیشن فور نیوکلیئر ریسرچ، فرانسیسی: Organisation européenne pour la recherche nucléaire) جس کا مخفف سرن ہے اور اسی نام سے مشہور ہے، یورپ کا ایک تحقیقی ادارہ ہے جس نے 1954ء سے جنیوا میں ذراتی طبیعیات کی سب سے بڑی تجربہ گاہ قائم کی۔ یہ تجربہ گاہ جنیوا کے شمال مغربی مضافاتی علاقے میں فرانس سوئس سرحد پر قائم ہے۔(46°14′3″N 6°3′19″E / 46.23417°N 6.05528°E / 46.23417; 6.05528) اس وقت اس کے 21 رکن ممالک ہیں۔[7] اسرائیل پہلا (اور اب تک کا واحد) غیر یورپی ملک ہے، جسے مکمل رکنیت دی گئی ہے۔[8] جب کہ پاکستان اور ترکی معاون رکن ہیں۔

عام طور پر سرن کی اصطلاح اس تجربہ گاہ کے لیے استعمال کی جاتی ہے جس میں 2013ء تک 608 جامعات و تحقیقی اداروں کا،[9] 2،513 افراد پر مشتمل عملہ، 12,313 معاونین عملہ، شاگرد، مہمان سائنسدان اور انجینئرز شریک ہو چکے تھے۔[10]

1954ء میں سرن کے قیام کے وقت صرف 12 ممالک اس کے رکن تھے، سرن باقاعدگی سے نئے اراکین کو قبول کرتا رہا ہے۔ تمام نئے اراکین اپنے الحاق کے بعد مسلسل تنظیم میں رہے ہیں، سوائے ہسپانیا (اسپین) اور یوگوسلاویہ کے۔ ہسپانیا پہلی بار 1961ء میں شامل ہوا، اور 1969ء میں نکل گیا، 1983ء میں دوبارہ شمولیت اختیار کی۔ یوگوسلاویہ 12 بانی اراکین میں سے تھا لیکن 1961ء میں نکل گیا۔اسرائیل 6 جنوری 2014ء سے مکمل رکن ہے۔[11] پہلا (اور اب تک کا واحد) غیر یورپی ملک۔[12]
