پہلوانی (اردو/شاہ مکھی: پہلوانی، ہندی: पहलवानी، پنجابی: ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨੀ، (بنگالی: পালোয়ানি)) or kusti (ہندی: कुश्ती،(مراٹھی: कुस्ती)، اردو/شاہ مکھی: کشتی، پنجابی: ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ، (بنگالی: কুস্তি)) جنوبی ایشیا میں کشتی کی ایک قسم ہے۔ پہلوانی کو مغلیہ سلطنت میں متعارف کرایا گیا۔ اس میں مقامی ملا-یدھا اور ایرانی بستانی کو ضم کر دیا گیا۔[1][2] پہلوانی کا لفظ بھی فارسی الفاظ پہلوانی اور کُشتی سے اخذ کیا گیاہے۔
