ایپارکیوس آویتوس جولائی 455ء سے اکتوبر 456ء تک مغربی رومی سلطنت کا شہنشاہ تھا۔ وہ رومی گول کا سینیٹر اور سول اور ملٹری انتظامیہ دونوں میں ایک اعلیٰ عہدے دار تھا۔ اس نے مغربی رومی سلطنت کو اکیلےرومی اطالیہ تک محدود کرنے کی سیاسی اور انتظامی نقطہ نظر سے مخالفت کی۔
